Holiday in Japan

I have been to Japan many times and I have had quite a lot of questions about visiting the place. I really love the country very much; there are many places to visit in Japan. You can choose from places rich with traditional cultures to modern international places. Just avoid taking the tours as it can be quite stressful and tiring. A holiday to Japan should be taken at your own pace to feel in the atmosphere. So this is my suggestion if you are planning to visit Japan:
Take Tokyo as you first visit. It is a big city that offers so many things to see. Choose any seasons but summer, it is too crowded. Spring is wonderful as the pleasant weather and Sakura blossoms. Autumn and winter are great too. Japan has many historical and traditional cities and towns. After you are done with Tokyo, you can choose Osaka or Kyoto as your next trip. Going to the north island would be wonderful too as you can see the Japan country sides like at Sapporo. Other alternatives you may visit Okinawa in south island for different beautiful scenery.
To go to Japan by air, I prefer using JAL as its ticket prices are lower and its coach share with MAS. Arrange your flight so you are able to arrive in Tokyo at around 8 am for you will not have to waste any single day. Check out a website such Virtual Tourist. It has an amazing community that shares information about places to visit. It would be better if you also can check the Japan Tourism Organization’s website for wonderful tips and the calendar of activities in Japan and also information about public transportation.
Convenient places to stay in Tokyo I recommended Shiba Park Hotel, Okura Hotel or Shinagawa Prince Hotel. They are at great locations in Japan. However if you are going to stay out of Tokyo, you can use a service such as Hotels Combined , to get a more specific search for hotels in Japan. From the site you can easily search for and compare prices of conveniently located hotels that suit your budget.
