Traveling to a Casino Destination? Watch Out for Those Video Poker Machines…

Of all the hands dealt in video poker only 21% are winning hands. The remainder, which is 79%, are losers. The smart video poker player knows what he must do with about 70% of the hands dealt so that it can become a winning hand.

There are some effective video poker tips in this article. When building your own video poker strategy be sure to follow these tips. A good strategy will increases your odds of winning in online video poker or offline video poker. Find a machine that pays out nine for a full house win and six for a flush win. It’s very important! Find and play on a video poker machine with the lowest wager possible if you are new to video poker.

Before playing on the higher wager machines wait until you have more experience. A good trick is to verbalize every hand you get. Remember you’re not playing against another person, the machine doesn’t care if you are “playing too slow.” Take your time, be sure about your next move before you take it. Many new players fall to recognize that the Jack is the most important hand in the deck. Unlike traditional poker where the Ace is king (so to speak) A Jack provides you with many more hands than an Ace does.

The varieties of video poker you can play are almost endless, but they all have their own pay tables that require specific strategies. The best way to start is to limit your choices to two. The best way to improve your game is by playing on your computer or at online casino using play money. If you train this way, you get to practice your skills risk free. Here are some basic video poker strategy tips:

1. Don’t ever hold a joker with your pair. This reduces your payout by 5%

2. If you can get a Royal Flush by drawing 3 cards do not Draw 4.

3. Always stay on a winning five-card hand except in a case where you can get a royal flush with one card.

4. Never break a flush to draw a straight flush even with one draw.

5. Always break a flush to draw a royal flush.

6. Don’t break a straight to draw for a straight flush.

7. Don’t draw five, if you’re holding a 5 or better.

8. Never leave a ten on a four card draw. And the main tip: control you bankroll. Video poker and every other gambling games should be considered entertainment. I know that Lady Luck comes to players who enjoy video poker.

Everyone can find something interesting in an online casino by searching for the best online card games available. The list goes on when you’re searching for a new hobby or money making opportunity. One of the most viable factors about finding a good card games download is checking on the reviews from frequent players. The Aladdin Casino Las Vegas: Worth the Trip?

The Aladdin Casino Las Vegas was an icon in its time. Opening its doors in 1966 on the first day of April, also known as April Fool’s Day, must have somehow temporarily displaced the bad luck that had befallen the previous property owner. In a gorgeous shower of beauty, flower petals floated down from up above as casino guests entered into the hall of the massive casino on opening day.

The previous structure had been a hotel, King’s Crown, which had failed after a brief 6-month period. Evidently, the hotel could not compete with the casinos in the area and, though a gaming license was applied for, it was denied. Milton Prell then purchased the structure and spent $3 million dollars for the building’s overhaul. During the renovation, he added a remarkable theatre with a 500 seat capacity so that his guests could enjoy twice nightly shows. Another of the Aladdin’s amenities was the 9-hole, custom golf course. Obviously, Prell believed that his guests should have it all.

The Aladdin Casino saw many famous faces during its time. In fact, the Aladdin’s Arabian themed structure and rich décor proved a perfect setting for one of the most famous celebrities of all time, Elvis Presley, who chose this magnificent casino for his marriage to Priscilla in a privately held ceremony.

But, all good things come to an end, and that’s exactly what happened for Prell in 1969. The property has changed hands several times during its history, which is typical for properties in fast paced Las Vegas. The former location of Aladdin Casino Las Vegas is now the home of Planet Hollywood Casino and Resort.

Since 2007, the Planet Hollywood Casino, a casino boasting 100,000 square foot of gaming space, has played host to Las Vegas gamblers, movie makers, file premiers, and theatre shows. Among its expansive gaming floor are slots ranging in denomination from $0.05 – $500.00, card games such as blackjack, three card poker, baccarat, and let it ride, and the traditional favorites – a varied assortment of slots gaming, roulette and craps.  You may give them a try; who knows, you may even get a lil lucky.

Aside from the thrill of pressing your the lady luck on the casino floor, you can also take a stroll through the stores, check out the luxurious spa treatments, burn some calories at the state of the art gym, take a dip in the pool, or dine in one of the 9 different restaurants and cafes that are available. Rest assured that no matter what your needs are, Planet Hollywood is ready to fulfill them.

Traveling to a Gaming Town? Why You Should Stay Away From Brick and Mortar Slot Machines

Research has shown that slot machines tend to get most of their trade towards the end of the evening, and most, if not all players end up losing, due in many cases to the influence of excess alcohol. Clearly this doesn’t happen at an online casino.

Contrary to popular belief, arcades and amusement parks are not the best places to play cherry slot machines. In fact arcades are probably the worst, simply because the slot machines on these premises are being played all day, and by people who know what they are doing (This can be a good place to watch and learn from others, but experts often don’t appreciate an audience, so be careful who you might bother!).

Another disadvantage of slot machines in arcades and amusement parks, and even travelling fairgrounds, is that they are not as well governed. It is not usual for slot machines at these sorts of venues to have been tampered with illegally. I definitely prefer free slots.

Unfortunately, it does not take a rocket scientist to lower the percentage rate to considerably lower than the 70% requirement, and then to quickly raise it again, when the official inspections are being carried out!

Apart from public houses, other profitable venues to play the cherry slots include: Bingo Halls, Working Mans Clubs, Snooker Halls, Ferries, Motorway Service Stations, and many pub type restaurants are also profitable.

Considering Online gambling instead? You can play Double Diamond Slots, free slot games and more.  There are several casinos that have added online casinos to their already existing brick and mortar casinos, as substantially as countless online-only casinos like Vegas Online Casino or Sultan’s Online Casino .  Online casino gaming offers a wide range of single-player as substantially as multi-player games. This is good news for those who like to play for high stakes; they can do so from the privacy and comfort of their residence without having to move around with excess cash.

Longing for Vegas? Try Out One of the Casinos in Your Area

Investing in the casino stocks is always a wary adventure. In recent times, Casino stocks have plummeted just as the recession continues to hit the economy. Consumers have been particularly hit hard and hence the reduction in fun and entertainment expenses such as casino games. Many consumers have been forced to redirect the bulk of their dollars to the necessities of life such as food, clothing, shelter and gasoline and cut expenditures on casino gaming.

However, with more casino locations sprouting and offering the best possible bonuses and entertainment package, business has not been very bad for the casinos. One Casino in Hollywood is a case in point. The hip, classy, and decidedly modern Hollywood Park casino is the hot casino in L.A. The stars that want a quick gambling fix in L.A. keep it frequented regularly and some even grace the stage! Guests don’t just have to focus on gambling; there are also many great shops and restaurants in the area that can be enjoyed. Everyone knows that the shopping and dining in L.A. is top notch!

The Hollywood Park Casino is always open, so there are no worries if you are up late and want to play. In fact, there are a ton of different games to play to help you wind down. Hollywood offers all the traditional favorites, such as blackjack, 3 Card, baccarat and craps, but also offers a few games that you might not see at other casinos, such as Pan 9 and a few different Pai Gow versions.

Another of the rarely discussed casino cities is Atlantic City. This is one of the hottest spots for corporate events, fund raising, birthday parties or even exclusive themed casino parties. Casino in Atlantic City are a leading converging point for casino players nationwide, not forgetting that when such a convergence is spiced up with a themed casino party, one of the most interactive and fun events is created.

In addition to these, there are several other outdoor events that can spice up your vacation in Atlantic City. Most of these events are either solely organized by a single hotel casino or in, most cases, they involve many hotels with just a single hotel casino as being the head of organizing the event.

Many Casinos in West operate on a 24 hour basis. Many of the casinos offer expansive square footage for gaming, which ensures that several hundred machines, table and poker games are being featured. Gaming machines mainly include the dollar slots, five dollar slots, nickel slots, quarter slots, progressive slots, video poker and multi-denomination slots. The tables serve blackjack and roulette while in the restaurants, breakfast, lunch and dinner are served.

So, just about anywhere you go, you can always find a little big of Vegas excitement to tide you over until you make your next trip to Sin City.

Something to Jump On: Casino Bonuses Galore…

June 25, 2009 by myarn

Online casinos have been flooding the online world lately. It seems that they have been trying very hard to attract more and more players to test their luck at their online casino.

Each online casino tries to outdo their competition by creating new and better promotions to catch a player’s attention. One of the most popular promotions being used right now is the bonus casino money. These promotions offer depositing players match bonuses of 20%, 50%, 100% and even higher of free money to use in that particular online casino.

When you take advantage of an bonus offer at an online casino there are restrictions that are put in place. These restrictions are to prevent a player from depositing their money, getting the bonus, and then withdrawing their money and the bonus without wagering a single dollar. Some casinos require that the player wager the value of the bonus money a number of times before being allowed to cash out the money. Some casinos will also require the player to wager the bonuses on certain games.

Games like baccarat, craps, roulette and blackjack generally do not qualify for the bonus play through rules. The bonus offer attracts two types of players. The first type of player uses the bonus to play longer, take bigger risks and have a lot of fun playing different casino games they would not normally play if they were wagering their own money. The second type of player is known as a bonus hunter. The bonus hunters deposit just enough money to get the maximum bonus, play through the minimum requirements, withdraw all their money, and then move onto the next casino.

Online Casinos are always on the lookout for bonus hunters and when they are caught their bonus privileges are usually revoked.  Download your free software from Online Party Poker, Online Roulette Free or Online Roulette Gambling.
